During my five years as an officer in the United States Air Force, I witnessed the impacts of slow, manpower-intensive analytic processes and the successes that replacing those processes with automated or augmented versions can yield. Now I'm seeking to apply these observations and my experience as a high-stakes team leader to business, transforming workflows to arm decision-makers with data more effectively. I'm interested in Summer 2023 technology solutions internships in consulting, marketing, or healthcare. When I'm not studying you'll find me working out with my wife Natalie, learning about physical, mental, and financial wellness, or searching for the best bars and restaurants in town.

After my internship with PTC, I grew interested in using data to bridge departmental gaps, particularly the gap between individuals with technical roles and those with customer-facing roles. Working for the Customer Success department allowed me to build a customer-centric mindset that I continually apply in my work. However, the exposure I had to analytics tools including Qlik Sense, Google Analytics, and Salesforce made it evident that to realize my goals, I needed to move beyond Excel if I would like to uncover meaningful information from the large sets of data companies gather. The analytics capabilities I am enhancing in MSBA and my business background are transferrable to a variety of fields. I would be excited to work in software, consumer goods, or healthcare after graduation.
