Mutually beneficial opportunity for recruiting and networking

Hosting MSBA students at your offices is a great way to get to know our program and future talent.

Site visits are flexible events that provide an opportunity for students to learn what your company does and connect with professionals at the office.

Logistics for 2025

Site visits typically range from 1-2 hours. We have availability for site visits during the following days and times in the Fall:

September 17th (Wednesday): 9 AM to 1:30 PM
September 26th (Friday): 1 PM to 5:30 PM

October 1st (Wednesday): 9 AM to 1:30 PM
October 24th (Friday): 9 AM to 5:30 PM

November 7th (Friday): 9 AM to 5:30 PM
November 14th (Friday): 9 AM to 5:30 PM

We have more than 200 MSBA students; and while group sizes for past site visits typically range from 10 - 50, it can be flexible based on your space, availability and preference.

What is required for a site visit?

A successful site visit requires at least 1-2 hosts willing to share a bit about how they/the company are using data and analytics and a meeting space to accommodate the group.

Some companies may require the host(s) to obtain special approval or security clearance. We are happy to provide lists of names and contact information as required.

What if we want to also do…?

Students are excited to visit offices and hear from professionals. Although not required, some companies choose to additionally offer:

Formal presentations from teams using data analytics, data science and/or data engineering
Office Tours
Networking Hours with employees on site
Meetings with TA or HR teams about potential positions/career paths within the company
Mini Case Competitions for students to tackle

What do you get out of it?

Site visits offer many excellent opportunities for companies to promote their brand and organization, and industry professionals to engage with the next generation of data analytics talent and establish valuable connections for your organization. For alumni, it is also a chance to reconnect with BU / Questrom / MSBA and network with emerging data specialists. Students remember these visits fondly for years to come.

Sample Visit - Board

Board International graciously 15 students from the MSBA program, provided an informative presentation of the work Board does, and how analytics skills are important to them, followed by a networking hour with members of the staff over pizza and drinks. Thank you, Board!
