NYC Analytics Trek Site Visits

Mutually beneficial networking opportunity

Welcoming a student group on-site is a great, low effort marketing and showcase opportunity for hosting companies and departments. Students highly value these opportunities and remember them and the company for years to come!

Logistics for 2026

Site visits typically range from 1-2 hours. We have availability for visits during the following days and times:

March 10th (Tuesday): 2 PM to 5 PM

March 11th (Wednesday): 9 AM to 6 PM

March 12th (Thursday): 9 AM to 4 PM

Group sizes are flexible depending on your space, availability and preference.  Meet with anywhere from 10 - 50 business analytics students.

What is required for a site visit?

A successful site visit requires at least 1-2 hosts willing to share a bit about how they/the company are using data and analytics and a meeting space to accommodate the group.

Some companies may require the host(s) to obtain special approval or security clearance. We are happy to provide lists of names and contact information as required.

What if we want to also do…?

Students are excited to visit offices and hear from professionals. Although not required, some companies choose to additionally offer:

  • Formal presentations from teams using data analytics, data science and/or data engineering

  • Office Tours

  • Networking Hours with employees on site

  • Meetings with TA or HR teams about potential positions/career paths within the company

  • Mini Case Competitions for students to tackle

What do we get out of it?

Engage with the next generation of data analytics talent and establish valuable connections for your organization. Although not all students may apply to work at your company now or in the future, some may still land at a current or future client or vendor. Generally build goodwill as students much appreciate these opportunities and think favorably of hosting organizations.
